Shiva at Pacha

SHIVA AT PACHA / SATURDAY 10TH OCTOBER 2009
The wait is finally over. Four months since our last soiree at the cherry-filled institution, Pacha, we're back for ONE MORE!
In what will be our final party at Pacha for 2009, we're putting on a special reunion for all of you who went to Shiva's, now legendary, bus boogie at the Get Loaded festival in August. We were thrilled and honoured to be there and were determined to make sure Shiva's uplifting and optimistic house music was enjoyed by the masses and that our family spirit would spread.
That sunny day in August surpassed all of our expectations and we were truly flabbergasted by the response, as this reviewer will no doubt tell you:
"….There was only one area to head to at the 'Get Loaded' festival on Clapham Common last month and that was the south west corner. What was expected to be one of the smaller promotions put on by Shiva turned out to be...well not so small. In fact really quite epic! A big white Gio Goi double decker bus was waiting with thousands of people scattered about having what seemed to look like the best time of their lives. Shiva's 'Get Loaded' over in this corner was like one big party. Everyone invited...and everyone came! Barely keeping my feet on the ground I tried to walk through the crowd only to get a dance with the Shiva Panda. Never one to refuse a dance, the Panda provided even more love for the event and brought the people together, not that he or she needed to; here whether you came with a huge group of friends or simply coming to check it out by yourself, you did not feel alone amongst the Shiva family. Love was in the air as well as the incredible music that was leaving the bus...for which one just had to get closer....”
So, October is upon us and we've assembled a line-up with many of the DJs who made the air crackle with excitement on the bus. We've also brought back the ever-popular Grant Nelson to headline for us at Pacha. He's never put a foot wrong and we're thrilled to have him back. A true legend and pioneer of house music in his own right.
And there you have it. Our last soiree at Pacha. A fine line-up assembled. Grant Nelson on board. And 1,000 clubbers itching to clamber onto that dancefloor come October the 10th.
No-one does Pacha quite like Shiva.....
